Dawaun Parker

“My philosophy is that it’s pointless to try and live up to the accomplishments of anyone else. You don’t know what they had to go through to get there. My only hope is to learn as much as I can, and continue to perfect my craft so that I can build a legacy of my own.”

Dawaun Parker aka The Dr.’s Apprentice ist Produzent bei Aftermath. Nachdem seine Tracks das erste Mal auf dem 50 Cent Soundtrack “Get Rich or Die Tryin’” zuhören war, produzierte Parker diverse Tracks für Busta Rhymes’ #1 Album “The Big Bang”, Jay-Z’s “Kingdom Come” oder auch T.I.’s “King” Album.

“Being a part of the Aftermath camp is the best thing that could’ve happened to me. It’s allowed me to elevate just about every area of my life, and I get to learn from and create with the best man in the game. There really isn’t pressure, just the responsibility I feel to always come on point, and to make the best music I possibly can for all of you guys. It really is about the music for me.”

In den letzten Monaten arbeitete Dawaun Parker auch an Tracks für seine eigene Crew The GodBody und produzierte Tracks für Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Nas, Stevie Wonder, Stat Quo, Dave Matthews Band und natürlich Tracks für das langerwartete Album “Detox” von seinem Mentor Dr. Dre.

“I’m on Stat’s record as it currently stands and I’m rocking on Bishop’s album. His joint is gonna be crazy!”
